2021 Università di Vienna, Obsolescenza del genere nel seminario per gli studenti

Martedì 22 giugno 2021 la ricercatrice Rosemarie Brucher dell'università artistica di Vienna parlerà di "Obsolescenza del Genere" di Kyrahm e Julius Kaiser in un seminario dedicato alla performance art. 

L'iniziativa  fa parte di una serie di conferenze dedicate al rapporto tra testo e performance art, notazione e improvvisazione, lavoro e messa in scena, scienza e arte e verrà presentato un ampio spettro di approcci interdisciplinari artistico-scientifici.

The Joint Research Elfriede Jelinek è un centro di ricerca nato nel 2004 e composto da scienziati ed artisti dell'Università di Vienna e del MUK, centro studi d'arte che supporta progetti interdisciplinari sia all'interno dell'istituzione universitaria che in ambito internazionale.

Obsolescenza del genere di Kyrahm e Julius Kaiser:

Il corpo nudo e l'io, la maschera e lo stereotipo. Una fila di corpi nudi avanza lentamente. Il sesso biologico come pelle. Il genere come senso del sè. Percorso, attraversamento, transizione. Ogni soggetto, una storia. Le maschere d’oro sul volto non nascondono le identità. Solitaria subentra una creatura di sesso femminile. Accarezza i corpi uno per uno. Il travaglio è faticoso, la carne materia da modellare. Il rito della vestizione tra fasce contenitive, pantaloni, giacca e cravatta è il ritorno all’opposto. Non è più necessario indossare la maschera: l’io è rivelato.

The initiative is part of a series of conferences dedicated to the relationship between text and performance art, notation and improvisation, work and staging, science and art. A broad spectrum of interdisciplinary, artistic-scientific approaches will be presented such as literary, theatrical, musical, dance and film projects and theoretical considerations on performance art

The Joint Research Elfriede Jelinek is a research center founded in 2004 and made up of scientists and artists from the University of Vienna and the MUK, an art study center that supports interdisciplinary projects both within the university and internationally.
